Updates from East Thames

Updates from East Thames following the recent General Meeting on 12th February:
  1. Door to stairwell of 91-136 Mercer court has been fixed.
  2. Door codes in Mercer Court have been changed because of youths gaining entry.
  3. East homes have contacted Bellways regarding lift in Mercer Court and will be updating residents as soon as they have further information.
  4. Shaique has liaised with Tower Hamlets Transport team re any possibility of them funding bike lockers for Horsely Court - awaiting response.
  5. Problems with call centre. If you encounter any problems please note time of call and ask to speak to a manager - all calls are logged.
  6. Any residents can report repairs in person to the office in the Multicentre, including Newlon and Gateway residents. The office opening hours are Mon and Tues 9am - 5pm and Wed 10am -6pm. You may have more success than on the phone. The facility is there for residents so please do use it.

Further Update on Works to Harford Street Multi Centre


East Thames would like inform residents that the current works are estimated to be completed by the end of April 2013.

Noisy Works - the majority of the noisy works are almost complete in the centre (we hope that this type of work will be completed in 2 weeks time). We apologise for the noise and any disturbance caused to residents. 

Current working arrangements

Monday to Friday 8am-6pm (No drilling to be undertaken outside these hours)
Saturday 9am-1pm (No drilling works - agreed with East Thames)

The contractors may work outside the hours above however this will not be anything noisy. Also no work will be carried out on a Sunday.
