Harford Street Community Centre (Mercer Court)

Fit out works to the Harford Street Community Centre is nearing completion. There have been a few delays and the works have taken slightly longer than originally planned. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by contractor's vehicles and noise from the building works. Once complete the building will provide a valuable resource for residents and the local community, with a new community centre, a new health and wellbeing centre, and a new permanent office for some East Thames staff to enable you to have direct access to services.


The contractors working on site are Durkan Limited & Dovehouse. Durkan are working on the community resource part of the building and Dovehouse are working on behalf of the Primary Care Trust. If you have any issues regarding any of the contractors please contact your Neighbourhood Manager.

Memorial Planting - Updates

A BIG thank you to all those involved in planting new flowers around the memorial on Saturday May 14th. A few children from the estate took part in the event and everyone enjoyed themselves. It was definitely a different way to spend your Saturday morning!
